1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy describes how H-Shot (“H-Shot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a brand of Regenotech, Inc., collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the website located at https://hshot.com/ and any associated subdomains, training portals, course platforms, and services (collectively, the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, do not use the Site.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Use, including all disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution provisions contained in those Terms.

2. Important Limitations on Scope
No medical advice. The Site provides educational, training, certification, and licensing information for healthcare professionals. Nothing on the Site is medical advice, and no provider-patient relationship is created by using the Site or submitting information to us.
Do not send us patient information. We are not a HIPAA covered entity and we do not act as a business associate through this Site. Do not submit protected health information, patient records, patient photographs, or any identifiable patient data through the Site, our forms, or our email addresses. Any such information you transmit is submitted at your own risk and outside the scope of any HIPAA-regulated relationship. You are solely responsible for complying with HIPAA and all other laws governing information you control.
Business and professional information. Much of the information we collect relates to healthcare professionals and business entities rather than consumers. Where the law treats business contact information differently from consumer personal information, we apply those distinctions.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
- Contact and inquiry information: name, email address, phone number, practice or business name, professional credentials, license type, specialty, and the contents of messages you send us.
- Account and training information: username, password, profile details, course enrollment, course progress, quiz and assessment results, certification status, and materials you upload.
- Comments and user content: the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, which we use for spam detection and security.
- Transaction information: billing name, billing address, and purchase history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
- Marketing preferences: subscription status and communication preferences.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect: IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, session duration, approximate geolocation derived from IP address, and similar usage and diagnostic data.
3.3 Media Uploads
If you upload images to the Site, avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the Site may be able to download images and extract any location or metadata embedded in them. You are responsible for the content and metadata of anything you upload.
3.4 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, analytics providers, lead generation partners, professional directories, publicly available sources, and our affiliated brands.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, security, and advertising.
- Comment cookies. If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These cookies last one year.
- Login page cookie. Visiting our login page sets a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- Login and preference cookies. When you log in, we set cookies to store your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last two days and screen option cookies last one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
- Editing cookie. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser containing the post ID of the article you edited. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.
- Analytics and advertising cookies. Third-party providers may set cookies to measure Site performance and to deliver and measure advertising, including advertising on other sites.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may cause parts of the Site to stop functioning. We do not guarantee that the Site will operate correctly if you disable cookies.
5. Embedded Content From Other Websites
Pages on this Site may include embedded content such as videos, images, articles, forms, scheduling tools, and course players. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website directly.
Those websites may collect data about you, set cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of those third parties. Your use of embedded content is governed by the privacy policy of the provider of that content.
6. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our training platforms;
- process registrations, enrollments, purchases, certifications, and licensing;
- respond to inquiries and provide customer and technical support;
- verify professional credentials and eligibility for our programs;
- send transactional messages, course updates, and, where permitted, marketing communications;
- personalize content and measure the performance of our marketing;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful or unlawful activity;
- enforce our Terms of Use, agreements, trademark rights, and licensing terms;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where required by law, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate business interests as the basis for processing.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information as follows:
- Service providers. Hosting, email, CRM, learning management, analytics, payment processing, spam filtering, customer support, and similar vendors who process information on our behalf.
- Affiliated brands. Other brands and entities operated by or affiliated with Regenotech, Inc., for the purposes described in this Policy.
- Licensing and certification. Where relevant to verifying, administering, or publicizing certification and licensing status, including listing certified providers in a public directory if you enroll in a program that includes directory listing.
- Advertising and analytics partners. Some sharing of online identifiers and usage data with advertising or analytics partners may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or a “sale” under certain state privacy laws. See Section 11 for how to opt out.
- Password resets. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
- Spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
- Legal and protective disclosures. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of H-Shot, Regenotech, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, information may be transferred as a business asset.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining training and certification records, meeting legal, tax, accounting, audit, and regulatory obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For registered users, we store the personal information provided in the user profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except that usernames cannot be changed. Site administrators can also view and edit that information.
Certification and training records may be retained indefinitely to verify credential status and to defend against claims relating to training, certification, or licensing.
9. Security and Your Assumption of Risk
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we hold.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot and do not guarantee, warrant, or represent that information you transmit to or store with us will be free from unauthorized access, interception, loss, alteration, or misuse. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you transmit information to us at your own risk, and we disclaim liability for any unauthorized access to or use of information arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of third parties, security vulnerabilities in third-party software, and your own failure to safeguard your credentials.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@hshot.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
10. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Site may contain links to, and integrations with, websites, platforms, and services we do not operate. This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We are not responsible for their content, security practices, or privacy practices, and we make no representations about them. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
11. Your Privacy Rights
11.1 All Users
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including data you provided to us.
These rights do not extend to information we are required or permitted to retain for administrative, legal, security, tax, audit, regulatory, credentialing, or dispute resolution purposes.
To make a request, contact contact@hshot.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may decline requests that are unfounded, excessive, or that would infringe the rights of others.
11.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.
To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, contact contact@hshot.com or use a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor where legally required.
Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.
11.3 Other U.S. State Privacy Laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others, may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, and opt out of targeted advertising or profiling. Submit requests to contact@hshot.com. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision with the word “Appeal.”
11.4 EEA, UK, and Swiss Residents
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
12. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions whose data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Site, you consent to that transfer and processing.
13. Children
The Site is intended for healthcare professionals and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it. Contact contact@hshot.com if you believe a minor has provided us information.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common industry standard for interpreting them, and we do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date and, where required by law, by additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. Review this page periodically.
16. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting the disclaimers and limitations of liability set forth in our Terms of Use:
The Site and all information on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, the collection or processing of information, any unauthorized access to or use of information, or your use of the Site, regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
